About Us
History
Viva Kids is a division of To Every Nation Inc. (TEN). TEN was born in 2005 out of a desire and vision to see the workplace become a hub for effective ministry. Soon after, Viva Kids was formed as a vehicle to effectively meet the needs of impoverished children and orphans around the world. The Viva Kids Board of Directors and founding members have worked with children in third-world countries and understand the situations they face on a day to day basis. Viva Kids first full-time, on-field operations began in August of 2006 when Dan and Shana Gower moved to the Dominican Republic and began working with children and families in several communities there.
