Dan and Shana Gower, Regional Directors

Dan and Shana Gower reside in Dominican Republic and serve as regional directors for VivaKids. Dan and Shana have two children, Joshua and Gabriel.

The Gowers have served as missionaries for the last 17 years, living in the Ukraine, Venezuela, Mexico and now the Dominican Republic.

Partnering with a long-time friend and missionary, Naomi Hamilton, VivaKids supports an ongoing effort in Manila, Philippines to provide hungry children living in the slums with nutrition through sponsored feeding programs. The program also includes health education for the mothers, and as a result, we see dramatic improvement in the health of these children.
