• How much of my sponsorship fund go to benefit my sponsored child?

  • 90% of sponsorship funds go directly to the field to run the programs that benefit your sponsored child.  Our partner children centers are managed with integrity and they receive yearly audits.

• What benefits does my sponsored child receive?

  • Viva Kids partners with children centers that take a holistic approach in their programs.  These centers work extensively with the physical, social, mental and spiritual development of each child.  Each center functions in a unique method so please feel free to visit our children center page to learn more.

• Does my child have other sponsors?

  • Each of the VivaKids partner children centers is unique in its program and therefore has a unique operating cost.  Children that participate in some of more extensive programs require more than one sponsor to cover the cost of the program. 

• Can I send my child a letter?

  • Yes, we encourage regular communication between you and your sponsored child.  Please send written correspondence to:

• Can I send my child a gift?

  • Yes, you can send your child a special gift.  Because these children are living in close communities, we recommend you send a gift no more than twice a year.  This can be for your child’s birthday and perhaps for Christmas.  Due to the high cost and difficulty of shipping, as well as restrictive import and customs laws, we prefer to accept monetary gifts on behalf of your child.  VivaKids staff will use these funds to purchase an appropriate gift for your child.  VivaKids retains no administration fee from gift donations.  If you prefer to send a package at your own expense, please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for details.

• How are children selected to participate in the children center?

  • The children are selected through a process that takes it account their family situation, socio-economic condition, ability to function in the program, living location, etc.  Each child goes through an enrollment process and our goal is that they continue as active participants until they complete the program.
